Color is a free iPhone application that allows people to capture and instantly share photos, video, and text. To celebrate the royal wedding, The Telegraph and Color will provide a live stream of photos taken using Color anywhere in Britain. From street parties in the Highlands to the royal procession on the Mall, all photos will be displayed as a mosaic of images on telegraph.co.uk/color and http://www.color.com/royalwedding, alongside live video coverage of the royal wedding.

A selection of the best pictures will subsequently be published by The Telegraph.

Edward Roussel, Digital Editor, TMG, said:

"We are delighted to be partnering with Color for the royal wedding. Color is one of the most innovative social media companies to emerge recently from Silicon Valley, and the collaboration will give our wedding coverage a truly innovative way of experiencing the world’s biggest party."

"We’re thrilled to team with The Telegraph to help document this historic occasion through the eyes of people celebrating across Britain," said Peter Pham, Color co-founder and President.  "Whenever I go to a wedding, I love taking photos with the disposable cameras, the only downside is that I rarely get to see the photos. For the royal wedding, it’s as if we’ve dropped disposable cameras all over Britain for everyone to snap and share photos of their experience. Except the cameras are iPhones and everyone gets to see and share the photos taken."

Other highlights on The Telegraph’s coverage include live video and rolling news blog, an interactive map with real-time Twitter conversation, and a specially created royal wedding section on Flipboard.  Coverage can be found at www.telegraph.co.uk/royalwedding
