Streets Ahead Interview: Liz Traynor – Mobile Street Photography

    2014-06-30 / 8 Comments

This week, the Women’s Street Photography Collective (Streets Ahead) is pleased and honored to feature Liz Traynor in our interview segment. I first noticed Liz’s work when I joined the Streets Ahead group on Flickr. Her photographs immediately stood out for me – she has a great eye and ability to capture the narrative. It is fascinating to read the stories behind her photographs and I love that she has a gift for titling her images just right, and often with a sense of humor. I highly recommend a visit to her galleries. You can find Liz @Ferguscat1 on Flickr.   Liz Traynor ‘Liz Traynor’ – ©Liz Traynor Please tell…

iOS Photography App – Cinamatic – Updated and Price Dropped

2014-06-26 / Comments Off on iOS Photography App – Cinamatic – Updated and Price Dropped

Hipstamatic’s new movie app Cinamatic has just been updated with some excellent new features. One we particularly like is the facility to add a soundtrack to your movies – you can select any tune from your music library. There are also advanced image controls, clip merging (this allows you to select multiple clips and merge them into one) and Segment Rearranging. Cinamatic is compatible with both iPhone and iPad and usually retails for $1.99/£1.49 but it is currently available for $0.99/£0.69. We are currently running a competition using this app and the winning movie will be featured in Hipstamatic’s Snap Magazine – click here for more details on that.  …

Well love it or loathe it to celebrate the Brazilian World Cup Football Tournament, Hipstamatic have brought back the SÃO PAULO HipstaPak for FREE – that’s until the USA are out of the tournament and according to my younger son, they have another game this Thursday, against Germany – eeek – so might be an idea to download this HipstaPak quite soon 😉 The SÃO PAULO pak comes complete with the Madalena Lens and Robusta Film, both offering warmth to your images. Just go to the shopping trolley within the Hipstamatic app and you’ll find it there waiting for you.

This week, the Women’s Street Photography Collective (Streets Ahead) is pleased and honored to feature Dani Salvadori in our interview segment.
