Capturing the essence of mobile food photography whilst inspiring artists to produce images of their own, we are delighted today to announce Award Winning Mobile Photographer, Armineh Hovanesian from California, United States joins us today as a New Columnist. Hovanesian is heading up our brand new food photography column, entitled ‘Beet Around the Bush’. Within this section, Hovanesian will curate the very best mobile food photography and art. She will interview succesful mobile food photographers, create challenges, engage in their processes and more. Harjo was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on May 9, 1951, and is a member of the Mvskoke/Creek Nation. Harjo received a BA degree from the University of New Mexico before earning an MFA from the Iowa Writers Workshop in 1978. Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year – Deadline Approaching – Mobile Photography Category
The Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year competition is one of my annual highlights and this year, I am on the advisory panel of judges as well as being a media partner. There are many categories to enter but of course, hands down, our favourite is the Mobile Photography section. It costs £6 to enter, per image and £2 of that will go to Action Against Hunger (registered charity).
