This Augmented Reality application for iPhone and iPod Touch will help you find the nearest Combinis (convenience store) from your position in Tokyo. It works with the iPhone’s camera live view. Any combini within a 1km distance will be displayed. This is great, now we need one for the US and Europe.
– iPhone vertical position: 360-degree view of all Combinis nearby your location, updated in real time as you walk in the streets.
– iPhone horizontal position: List of all nearest Combinis. When a station is selected, a red arrow (compass) is displayed to show the direction and the distance to that point.
This application does not require a network connection to operate.
