Sr. Mistu – Great New iPhone App Game – Find Out All About It

We Choose Fun today is pleased to introduce Sr. Mistu 1.0 for iOS, their hand-made adventure game of a little blind man and his dog. The whimsical game features graphics created entirely with colored pencils on paper. Senor Mistu, who is helped by his guide dog Gaido, one day runs out of olives while making pizza. This leads him and his dog on an epic journey that takes them around the world and beyond. Gameplay consists in teaching Gaido the path through busy streets and other environments filled with obstacles, so that Sr. Mistu may follow.

Origin

Originally titled Sr. Mistu – The Great Olive Pursuit, the game challenges the player to draw a path for Gaido and Sr. Mistu to follow through each level. Once Gaido knows the way, he walks his master through the level. But should Sr. Mistu crash in to anything along the way, the player must re-draw the path taking into account what they have learned. Currently, the game has a total of 35 different levels that take place in two different worlds: The Town and Under the Sea. Future versions of the game will include more than 100 levels divided into 6 hand-drawn worlds.

Objectives

While the objective of the game is to traverse every level, it is possible to pick olives while on each level. Gathering olives scores points, but is usually more difficult than navigating successfully through a level.
Each of the six worlds contains 17 – 20 levels. The first world, The Town, is where Sr. Mistu starts his adventure. He goes through the streets and parks, trying to avoid such urban obstacles as cars, pedestrians, joggers, trains, kids, dogs, etc. The second world is The Sea. Unknowingly, Senor Mistu walks to the beach and is soon walking underwater, where he must avoid fishes, submarines, jellyfish, sharks, dolphins, whales, etc. Additional worlds are currently under development, but should not prove too daunting to the oblivious little blind man and his faithful guide dog. New worlds may include the North Pole, Brazil, the Moon, and the Amazon Jungle; and new worlds may include none of these.
