iTunes – 12 Days of Christmas – Top Gear and The Trip

Don’t miss today’s free offering from Apple, via the iTunes app, 12 Days of Christmas. Today you can watch two great TV episodes from the BBC.

The first one is Top Gear: Middle East Special. The includes the three wise men of Top Gear embarking on a seasonal road trip as they attempt to recreate a certain famous journey across the Middle East to Bethlehem. They do so in a trio of open top sports cars, each wholly unsuited to the conflict ridden mountains of Southern Turkey, the dangerous warzones of Iraq and the searing deserts of Syria. Along the way they test the limits of mechanical and physical endurance as well as asking the vital question, what exactly is myrrh and where do you buy it?

The second one is The Trip: Hipping Hall – A 17th century house, steeped in history and now host to Steve and Rob. We learn more about the pair as they dine together for the fourth time on their culinary tour of the north.

You don’t have to have an iOS device to download these gifts. Just log on to iTunes on your computer and download from there.
