Focus On Imaging – The End!

Focus on Imaging has been running for 24 years at Birmingham NEC exhibiting the latest photographic gear – I think I’ve attended almost everyone of them as a Press Tech Journalist with special access to the cosy Press Rooms alas, there will not be anymore, this is the end. Mary Walker Exhibitions would like to announce that the 2013 Focus on Imaging Exhibition was the last.

Mary Walker explains ‘Focus on Imaging will not be sold – I’m simply bringing it to an end. ‘It is with great pride that I look upon an amazing period of time in my life where I continually worked hard to run Focus on Imaging to the absolute best of my ability. I, myself, the Show and my committed team have witnessed the phenomenal growth and revolutionary changes that have come to the photographic industry, and I am proud to have offered photographers and manufacturers an opportunity to come together professionally and personally over the years’.

    I love photography trade shows.
My creative and technology batteries ALWAYS get super recharged at events of this kind. Sad to see one close down after so many years. I am sure this is a sad day for those attendees that go every year.
Many thanks to Mary Walker for the years she gave to make these shows happen!
For those of you in others parts of the planet that are not familiar with this show…here’s a video that will give you a peek of what is now no more.
