Camera Plus – iOS Photography App – Updated
We first wrote about Camera Plus Pro the more advanced version of this app for dpreview.com back in 2011, if you missed that, please go here. The latest update to Camera Plus brings with it some great features including three focus modes, macro, normal and far (perhaps distant may of sounded better) but nevermind. There’s some new filters, sliders and text captions included too as well as video features.
If you haven’t tried this app yet, then we recommend you do. It retails for $0.99/£0.69 and you can download it here.

I have been EXTREMELY supportive of Camera + for a very long time. Then, after the new iPhone OS came out, their app was AWFUL. I wrote them time after time after time, still no update on if the problems have been fixed.
I’ve used a LOT of photo apps the past couple of years and I SWEAR this is the best one out there, but not lately……
I hope they fix it.
