Samsung Announces Stylish Accessories Range For Galaxy S5

Samsung Electronics today unveiled a range of premium accessories to complement its new Galaxy S5 smartphone, on sale in the UK on Friday 11th April.

The Samsung S-View cover is back for the Galaxy S5 in a range of five metallic colour options – Black, White, Green, Rose Gold and Pink – complete with a leather-look finish for a more sophisticated effect. The perfect companion for your Galaxy S5, the S-View cover allows you to see notifications of incoming calls and messages, take photos and listen to your music – all without even having to open the cover, so you can keep up with all the goings-on in your life whilst also keeping your Galaxy S5 safe and secure.

The S-View cover has a perfect-grip edge coating so your phone won’t slip out of your hand if you are in a rush or take a call whilst walking to work. Just like the Galaxy S5 and all approved Samsung covers, the S-View cover is also IP67 rated ensuring it stays resistant to dust and water.  The Galaxy S5 knows what colour your S-View case is and will automatically display a matching UX and background colour or you can customise the wallpaper in the S-View window if you want something more personal using one of your own photos.

Thanks to Ultra Saving Mode, your Galaxy S5 will last up to 10 hours of web browsing and 12 hours of video. However, when you do need to charge, there are a range of new charging options that will be available to purchase when the device hits the shops, including a wireless charging kit featuring a pad and cover.  It is compact in size, convenient and fuss free, so when your phone rings while it’s charging you can simply lift off the pad and start speaking without the need to unplug.  Not only that, there will also be a multi-charging cable available for anyone with multiple devices which will allow you to charge up to three at any one time – with just the one cable and plug socket required.
