Mobile Photography/Art Competition – FIPA/TheAppWhisperer Special Award – ‘Gates of Paradise’

The theme is ‘Gates of Paradise’ I selected this theme to honour the gilded bronze doors of Florence’s Baptistery of San Giovanni and as inspiration for all mobile artists to create a magnificent work of art; not depicting the literal ‘Gates of Paradise’ but to portray, what the ‘Gates of Paradise’ represent to you. Think widely a place of contentment, a garden, being with a loved one, a tranquil location to retreat in times of stress.

Deadline for this Competition is May 15, 2015

Joanne’s compassion, inclusivity, and humility are hallmarks in all that she does, and is particularly evident in the platform she has built. Her experience as a jurist for mobile art competitions includes: Portugal, Canada, US, S Korea, UK and Italy. The online gallery specialises in prints for discerning collectors of unique, previously unseen signed limited edition art. Her journey towards becoming The App Whisperer, includes (but is not limited to) working for a paparazzi photo agency for several years and as a deputy editor for a photo print magazine.
