If you know of anymore competitions, please let me know and I will add them to this list.

Mobile Photography/Art Competition – FIPA/TheAppWhisperer Special Award – ‘Gates of Paradise’

The theme is ‘Gates of Paradise’ I selected this theme to honour the gilded bronze doors of Florence’s Baptistery of San Giovanni and as inspiration for all mobile artists to create a magnificent work of art; not depicting the literal ‘Gates of Paradise’ but to portray, what the ‘Gates of Paradise’ represent to you. Think widely a place of contentment, a garden, being with a loved one, a tranquil location to retreat in times of stress.

Deadline for this Competition is May 15, 2015

The projects are not only for those who love art and culture, but also for those interested in the unknown aspects and less touristic places, for those who like dreaming impossibile dreams and for those who want to know them through the eyes of others who have lived and recorded their experiences.

An approach oriented at growing a sensibility toward a culture mainly imprinted by understanding the people and the place.
