Latest HUAWEI P Series device features increased RAM, boosted internal storage and a new 32MP selfie camera

Huawei, the world leading technology company, today announced the launch of the HUAWEI Y6s, a smartphone that combines quality technology and stylish design at a truly affordable price. Delivering more for less, the HUAWEI Y6s combines a stunning 6.09” display with a 13MP rear camera to give people all of the tools they need to take great photos and share them on social media.

The device operates on EMUI 9.1 and Android 9 with full Google Mobile Services support.

Photography Powerhouse

On the rear, the HUAWEI Y6s boasts a 13MP camera (f/1.8) with LED flash, perfect for capturing crystal-clear social media worthy photographs and videos, even in challenging low light situations. Plus, thanks to AI Scene Recognition, the HUAWEI Y6s can recognise over 22 different categories of objects and more than 150 scenes, meaning the smartphone automatically makes adjustments to capture the best shot possible.

The HUAWEI Y6s is equipped with an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture, allowing users to capture high resolution selfies every time.

Seamless Performance

Powered by the MediaTek MT6765 octa-core chipset, the HUAWEI Y6+ delivers a smart and efficient user experience. The device also comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, giving users plenty of space for storing images, videos, games and documents.

Equipped with a 3,020mAh battery, the HUAWEI Y6s offers people ample battery life, helping to keep them going for longer.

Running on EMUI 9.1, which is based on Android 9 with full Google Mobile Services, the HUAWEI Y6s delivers ultra-fast app launch speeds and system responsiveness, ensuring there’s no delay in loading multimedia content.

Immersive Viewing Experience

The HUAWEI Y6s features a 6.09” display, giving users a stunning, high-quality viewing experience, perfect for watching films and videos or playing the latest games on the go.

The new HUAWEI Y6s also features the HUAWEI Dewdrop Notch Display, a minimal, unobtrusive notch that houses the front camera.  A 3.5mm headphone jack helps to get the matching undisrupted sound experience supporting a wide range of headphones.

The HUAWEI Y6s will be available in two stunning colours: Starry Black and Orchid Blue.
