BBC iPlayer iPhone App Updated
We mentioned the new BBC iPlayer app for iPhone several weeks ago and now the BBC have updated it allowing iPhone/iPad users to watch BBC programs and listen to radio over WiFi and 3G. As well as watching TV using Apple AirPlay on iOS5.
The BBC rolled out their global version of this app throughout Europe and around the world earlier this year giving viewers access to over 1,500 hours of on-demant content for an annual subscriptionn cost.
What we would really like to see though is the facility to download programs and view them offline via your iPhone, now that would be good and perhaps that’s coming next.
