iOS – Camera Awesome Becomes More Awesome

Camera Awesome takes your photos to the next level by shooting faassst and taking sharper, better-exposed shots. You may recall that this app received quite a lot of stick when it was released on February 28, 2012. Billed as ‘free’ it came with, as the developer told us ‘tons of in-app purchases’. Well, that’s good but then it’s not ‘exactly free’, is it?

Looks like the developers have had a rethink as this update includes much lower pricing for in-app effects packages. There’s also Instagram integration, in-app tutorials, pinch-to-zoom, white balance lock, improved sharing interface, improved shot timer, performance improvements, EXIF date improvements and a bunch of bug and crash fixes.

This is a free update and you can upgrade or download the app for the first time, by clicking here.
