Three Announce Their iPhone 4 Tarrifs – And They Look Good

Although Three is not yet taking orders for the iPhone 4 itself, it has published its price points and monthly contract charges. 3 has disclosed that all contracts entitle takers to a 1GB data limit per month, putting its mobile internet allowances in line with Vodafone.

Pay Monthly

The carrier has not revealed contract lengths, but the cheapest monthly tariff for the 16GB edition of the handset looks to be £30 per month with a one-off charge of £99. This includes 500 any network minutes, 5000 texts and 5,000 3-to-3 minutes.

The 32GB edition of the phone also starts at £30 per month, with subscribers liable for an upfront charge of £189 for the handset. Calls and data allowances are identical to the £30 per month 16GB deal.

You’ll have to agree to pay £45 per month if you want to get the iPhone 4 for free but it will give you the 16GB iteration, plus 2,000 anytime network minutes, 5000 texts and 5,000 3-to-3 minutes.

SIM only

As the iPhone 4 handset is available unlocked from Apple, it works out far cheaper, if you can afford the initial upfront handset cost, to go for one of the SIM only plans. From £15 a month and with only a one month rolling contract, or PAYG that includes free texts and internet, but we’re not sure how much of each, and lasts for 90 days.
