Mobile Photography – Brand New App -SWRLY Giveaway worth $2.99 each

There’s a brand new universal (for iPhone and iPad) app on the streets called SWRLY by accomplished BrainFeverMedia app developers. SWRLY is a modern take on the orginal swirly lens, the Petzval, created in 1840 by Josef Petzval – one of the foremost optical physicists of his day. This lens design was one of the first portrait lenses and is characterised by a unique swirly bokeh effect. Many of the earliest photos (daguerreotypes, tintypes, etc) were captured with Petzval lenses.  The characteristic look developed with this app is of course over 170 years old and optical lens design, in general has developed considerably since then but the reason this app is of interest now, is directly due to the distinctive ‘look’ it produces.

I would love to try out this app. Been a fan of BrainFeverMedia and have everything they’ve offered. Personally, I like your site a lot. It offered content that pushes the type of photos one can make and for me personally, I would like see content that is country or region specific. What I mean is, considering mobile photography is done worldwide, could it be different environments have unique aesthetics? It’s something I think would be very intriguing. Anyway, hope to win and try this app out, as the effects are gorgeous.

Dear Joanne: I do not know for how long the promotional codes of some apps remain available. I would like to be able to access the SWRLY and ShutterSnitch apps if that were possible. If they are not available, I will try to acquire them in the future, as they seem to be very interesting for me. Thank you very much for your attention and I will try to be alert to the upcoming promotions. As always, a lot of thanks for your initiative in the diffusion of photographic technique using the best tools.
    Greetings from Barcelona
