Huge congratulations to our APPart Color of the Day with Pantone Daily Challenge winner. Yesterday’s Color of the Day was Rapture Rose (17-1929) with the adjectives and nouns, ‘Sensual, Resourceful and Dramatic’. We feel that @giuliabaita has captured the essence of these with this wonderful image seen below. We all believe that photojournalism is a powerful tool for telling compelling social, political and cultural stories. We also understand that creating and managing world-class photography assignments requires time, freedom, support and considerable resources. Environmental Photographer of the Year 2015 – Last chance to enter!
The Atkins CIWEM Environmental Photographer of the Year competition is an international showcase for the very best in environmental photography and film. The competition is free to enter and offers an exhibition at the Royal Geographical Society and a total prize money of £8,000, including awards for young photographers, film and a solo show. The Open and Youth winners along with the inaugural Mobile Phone winner of the world’s biggest photography competition, the Sony World Photography Awards, are announced today. Drawn from the four corners of the world and covering a huge range of subjects, the winning Open, Youth and Mobile Phone photographers were chosen from over 96,000 entries to the 2015 SonyWorld Photography Awards.
