APPart – Mobile Art – Pantone Color of the Day Winner and New Daily Challenge (3) Announced!
Huge congratulations to our APPart Color of the Day with Pantone Daily Challenge winner. Yesterday’s Color of the Day was Paisely Purple with the adjectives and nouns, Spiritual, Efficient and Health Oriented. We feel that our APPart Editor @sugarama (Bobbi McMurry) has captured the essence of these with her wonderful image below. Today’s Pantone Color of the Day is Crocus (see below) – with the descriptive words of Driven, Quirky and Charming – we can’t wait to see your submissions! We are delighted to launch a new segment to our very popular Mobile Art – APPart column here at TheAppWhisperer, edited by Bobbi McMurry. We would like to inspire all mobile artists to create one image a day using the selected colour of Pantone’s ‘Color of the Day’ – see here (we will announce the colour each day). In this demonstration, Bobbi explains how to create a fabulous piece of art using only one app to one photograph, don’t miss this. Fabulous Film at Sundance Film Festival Shot using iPhone 5s and FiLMiC Pro App
This is fabulous and is exactly why we promote mobile movies within our dedicated Column on TheAppWhisperer, edited by Donna Donato. The Sundance Film Festival is known for showcasing more experimental films, but none more so than transgender prostitute movie Tangerine, shot almost entirely with the iPhone 5S. Sean Baker’s comedy drama follows a trans woman on a Christmas Eve hunt for the Hollywood pimp who left her heartbroken. But while the film itself is surprising and fascinating, so are the means with which it was made. Welcome to our Streets Ahead Challenge 9 ‘Selfies on the Street’ results. This challenge was different to our previous selfie challenge (which was in the style of Vivian Maier). This time, we wanted you to capture people taking selfies of themselves on the street – ‘social media models’.
