APPart – Mobile Art – Pantone Color of the Day Winner and New Daily Challenge (3) Announced!
Huge congratulations to our APPart Color of the Day with Pantone Daily Challenge winner. Yesterday’s Color of the Day was Paisely Purple with the adjectives and nouns, Spiritual, Efficient and Health Oriented. We feel that our APPart Editor @sugarama (Bobbi McMurry) has captured the essence of these with her wonderful image below. Today’s Pantone Color of the Day is Crocus (see below) – with the descriptive words of Driven, Quirky and Charming – we can’t wait to see your submissions! To take part in this challenge, please create an image and post it to Instagram and include the hashtag #taw_appart_coloroftheday we will select a winner and feature them each day!

We are delighted to launch a new segment to our very popular Mobile Art – APPart column here at TheAppWhisperer, edited by Bobbi McMurry. We would like to inspire all mobile artists to create one image a day using the selected colour of Pantone’s ‘Color of the Day’ – see here (we will announce the colour each day). As well a ‘Color of the Day’, Pantone also link that colour with adjectives and/or nouns, for example, today’s ‘Color of the Day’ is shade Violet (16-3320) and the accompanying descriptives are ‘trendsetter, seductive and magnetic’. In this demonstration, Bobbi explains how to create a fabulous piece of art using only one app to one photograph, don’t miss this. Fabulous Film at Sundance Film Festival Shot using iPhone 5s and FiLMiC Pro App

The Sundance Film Festival is known for showcasing more experimental films, but none more so than transgender prostitute movie Tangerine, shot almost entirely with the iPhone 5S.
