iOS Photography App – Afterlight – Updated
Afterlight is a hugely successful iOS Photography app and it has now been updated to include an Instagram button. Afterlight can be found on Instagram at @Afterlightapp and you can follow with this tag #Afterlight. There is now also a light grey theme for editing, a white balance lock for the camera mode, an automatic landscape mode via iPhone and three new wallpapers. Samsung Electronics Integrates Digital Imaging Division With Mobile Communications Division
Well, it’s no surprise to us to read in the ETNews report, that we monitor, that Samsung have merged their camera and smartphone communication divisions into one. Smartphones and cameras are merging at an incredible rate of knots and the Samsung Galaxy hybrid is a key example of this trend. Samsung Electronics explained, “We will transplant the brand, sales networks, software competency and manufacturing competitiveness of the Wireless Business Division into the Camera Business Division, and integrate the technical know-how of the two business divisions into competency for differentiating our smartphones.” This is a big shakeup and perhaps wake up call to the industry by concentrating on one division Samsung…

A brand new app from the developers (TinRocket) of Percolator and Popsicolor is coming soon and is called Waterlogue, as you might imagine it is a water-painting photo effects app. It comes with a variety of presets and several key settings, allowing you to quickly get started.
