Today, it’s a day of much excitement here at TheAppWhisperer HQ, so far we have already announced our new and restyled Instagram takeover, with Clay Benskin and next, we’re announcing a brand new section to TheAppWhisperer, entitled ‘Women’. It’s something I have been thinking of and building, mentally, for some time. Within ‘Women’ we will address many of the issues affecting women in society today and reflect that with mobile photography and art. And now for something entirely new! We are very excited to announce our latest Instagram takeover will be with world renown street photographer Clay Benskin from New York City. We were so impressed (and we’re not alone) with his recent takeover of the @newyorkerphoto Instagram account, it’s incredible. What a fortnight it has been with @sodium_light22 – Jenny Pieters who gracefully took over our Instagram feed for 14 days! Mobile Photography / Art – Saturday Poetry by Nomi Stone with Mobile Photographer, Robin Robertis
This weeks Saturday Poetry, matched with mobile photography/art is entitled ‘Waiting for Happiness’ by Nomi Stone. Stone’s second collection of poems, Kill Class, is forthcoming from Tupelo Press in 2019. She is also the author of Stranger’s Notebook (TriQuarterly Books, 2008). Stone is the recipient of fellowships and grants from the Vermont Studio Center and the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities.
