Instagram Increases Image Resolution
Instagram’s image resolution has been stuck on 640 x 640 for a long time but following the recent upgrade to the app, Instagram has now started storing higher resolution images – 1080 x 1080 on its servers. Mike Krieger, co-founder of Instagram, announced via Twitter, yesterday the roll-out to both iOS and Android versions of the app. (Many thanks to Ile Mont, for the tip).
