I can’t wait to take a closer look at these iPhone 4 cases, they look gorgeous. They are made by ElementCase – the company that makes the beautiful Joules stand for iPad. They look to have excelled themselves with this case though, it is made from a solid block of aircraft grade aluminum which makes it strong but also very light – it weighs in at only 25 grams.
The finish of the Vapor case is anodized to create a hard protective coating in brilliant colors. Yes, black is a color. In true ElementCase style, the graphics are laser engraved. A "custom" option will be available soon.
The inside of the Vapor case is lined with a very high tech shock absorbing material that reduces the G-forges of an impact. It also creates a non-conductive barrier to help maintain the iPhone’s antenna signal strength. At the moment the choices of color are black or black and pink with an option for both to have a carbon fiber backplate. The price is $79.00 without carbon fiber or $99.00 with.
