Samsung Introduces the New Galaxy J6+ and J4+ Smartphones

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has just announced the newest members of the Galaxy J series, the Samsung Galaxy J6+ and J4+.

“The Galaxy J6+ and J4+ further draw on the fundamentals of the Galaxy portfolio’s heritage of innovation to bring incredible style and technology at a highly-competitive price point,” said Kate Beaumont, Director of Product, Services & Commercial Strategy, Samsung Electronics UK and Ireland.

“Featuring a stunning design and display, enhanced camera experience and high-performance capabilities, both products enable users to get even more out of their Galaxy J smartphone for longer than ever before.”

Stunning design and display

The Galaxy J6+ and J4+ feature a glass-like back cover that adds a whole new dimension to the Galaxy J series’ design credentials. Its ergonomic curves provide a premium look and feel to the smartphones and their sleek profile ensures that both are comfortable to grip in the hand.

With a narrow bezel and larger screen, the enhanced 6.0” HD+ Infinity Display, a staple of premium flagship Galaxy smartphones, offers a superb gaming and multi-media content consumption experience.  The Infinity Display also enables powerful multi-tasking, with the Split Screen feature utilising the large screen size that lets users enjoy two apps at the same time.

The Galaxy J6+ and J4+ also feature face recognition for easy unlocking, while the Galaxy J6+ includes a fingerprint scanner on the side of the device, adding an extra level of security and convenience without compromising the device’s design.

Enhanced camera experience

Reflecting the importance of the camera to consumers, the camera experience on both products has been further enhanced. The Galaxy J6+ features a 13MP and 5MP Dual Camera, allowing consumers to capture a natural Bokeh effect with their shots. With Live Focus on the Galaxy J6+’s Dual Camera, the depth of field can be adjusted any time, either before or after you take the shot, to ensure that those picture-perfect moments are captured even more often.

Both devices also feature a large F1.9 aperture lens (13MP) that lets more light in, making the devices the perfect tool for taking clear, bright pictures, even in low-light conditions. In addition, the floating shutter button lets you conveniently take pictures with just one hand.

High-performance

Building further on its premium design look and feel, both the Galaxy J6+ and J4+ offer superb performance credentials across the areas of audio, battery life, memory.

Integrated into both devices is Dolby Atmos, which provides immersive surround sound – whether you’re watching a movie or listening to your favourite track, the sound moves around you, delivering an incredible experience that makes you feel part of whatever you’re hearing.

Designed to fit around users’ busy lives, the Galaxy J6+ and J4+ include a 3,300mAh battery, an increase of 10% compared with previous Galaxy J models, so that users can rely on their phone for even longer. The devices also feature Power Saving mode, which simplifies the Home Screen and closes inactive tasks to extend battery life when you need it the most. In addition, the powerful Quad-core 1.4GHz processor means that the devices are able to carry out more advanced tasks, such as running high-resolution video, without draining the battery.

In the UK and Ireland, the Galaxy J6+ offers up to 4GB of RAM and is available with 32GB of memory, while the Galaxy J4+ offers up to 3GB and is available with 16GB of memory. Both devices also feature internal memory of up to 512GB with a microSD™ card, providing users with true performance and flexibility.

The new Galaxy J6+ is available in three stylish colours: Black, Grey and Red, while the Galaxy J4+ is offered in Black, Gold and Pink.
