Our App Of The Day – Air Penguin
Players will guide Air Penguin through the icy South Pole using simple multi-directional tilt controls, made possible with the gyroscope in iPods, iPhone and iPads. Air Penguin will bounce through most of his journey but when he gains speed he can slide down the ice and then take off for a glide through the air. While dodging around hazards like thin ice, stubborn seals, jumping swordfish and angry sharks, other creatures such as turtles and whales can give a ride or another boost on his path. The endless Survival mode will mix things up for a fresh challenge, or items can be used to help get through the 100 stages of Story mode as Air Penguin ventures to save his family from melting ice caps. Easy to pick up but hard to put down, Air Penguin is topped off with graphics optimized for Retina displays and 39 Game Center achievements, leaderboards and score-posting to Twitter and Facebook.
