The Apple v Samsung war shows no abating and this morning it has been reported that Samsung have rented a pop-up shop next door to one of Apple’s stores in Australia where it is selling Samsung S II handsets for $2 – that’s the retail price – no contract!
This sale goes on until Friday in a presumed attempt to tempt would be iPhone 4S shoppers to the ‘dark side’. So if you’re in Australia it’s no a no-brainer – if you’ve elsewhere then you may need to weigh up the flight into the budget.

Well, I’m not about to drop the airfare to get one, but if I lived there, it would be a no brainer. I wonder if there’s a “gotcha” behind it all.
