Ouch – RIM Has $1.7 Million Of PlayBooks Stolen
Oh RIM come on – you don’t need this! Somehow, whilst a truck driver was catching a break last Thursday, his truck full of 22 pallets of BlackBerry PlayBooks – that’s around 5,000 units was stolen. Not only that, there was no tracking device on the vehicle so the theives just went on their merry way.
This loss has been valued at $1.7 million, add this to the $485 million loss recently took a hit on with its poorly selling PlayBooks and the latest delay to their BlackBerry 10 phones and things are not looking good. Their share price has dropped 71% from the beginning of 2011.
I guess things can only get better…
