The best part of this update for me concerns the shutter. You can now trigger the shutter with the audio up/down volume control buttons, just like the camera Apple supplied you. Nice enough you say, now 645 Pro acts like a real camera…but wait! There’s more! This also means that you can now trigger the camera using your ear buds inline volume control buttons to act as a tethered off camera shutter release. Great for tripod use or for people like me using an iphone handle. I can now trigger the shutter from the handle with my thumb without having to touch the screen. WooHoo!
