Number One – Camera+

Whatever I use to shoot the next  stop is Camera+ for first stage editing, especially exposure. It’s pushed Laminar (Iris) out of my top 5).

Number Two – Classic Pan

You don’t hear much about this app but I think it’s the best for Panoramic work. Really nice user interface. Simple, effective. Does what it says on the tin…

Number Three – Hipstamatic

I find I’m shooting more straight, reportage style images and I love Hipstamatic for that style of work. I love the variety. Although having said that, I do tend to stick to tried and tested film/lens combinations.  I am, sadly, a bit obsessive about getting all the new kit.

Number Four – Shakeit Photo

‘Soho – Free All Weekend’ – ©Tess Gomm

Talking of reportage and street photography, I’ve been running a lot of shots through my first love Shakeit Photo. I like the saturated grittiness. Somehow everything works in Shakeit…

Number Five – Slow Shutter

I love to experiment with Slow Shutter. I’m never quite sure how street shots are going to turn out. I favour moving subjects and add to the movement by not worrying about keeping the iPhone steady.
