“Weekends are a special treasured time for most of us. I spend my weekends doing what I usually do with free time: editing, taking photos, socializing and watching old movies.
I am a social worker/psychotherapist by profession and have reentered the workforce after time off caring for my kids. I am very excited to talk to other artists and to share my personal experience”.

I’ve enjoyed going to places and photographing people and coming back to the photos and manipulating them. Recently I’ve been taking photos at museums and using slow shutter.
Beaches have been a favorite place of mine, recently a trip to the Bahamas yielded lots of photos to manipulate.
I love different approaches to art and experiment constantly.
The last thing I can say about my weekends is I crave free time and hopefully use it well. I wish to you all the best and most creative of weekends.

Joanne Carter is a British photography journalist, editor, curator, and the founder of *TheAppWhisperer.com*, one of the world’s leading platforms dedicated to mobile photography and art.
