a) Complete PNG workflow support. A lot of users had complained about the lack of transparency support in Laminar. Version 1.3 has complete support for transparencies.
As a lot of users had requested, the export options have undergone a major upgrade.
->Users can select the file format while exporting/saving the image. PNG or JPG.
->Ability to resize images while exporting.
->Add a configured watermark while exporting the image.
b) Added support for automation and ability to save most of the commonly used options:
-> Presets: Most of the adjustment settings on the right, can now be saved as presets allowing one click access when needed.
-> Watermarks: A lot of users like to add watermark to their images before uploading to the social media sites. Watermark preset allows users to define a watermark to be added on the images, and it would be added automatically every time user exports the image.
b)New image picker that allows users to pick images directly from Facebook, Flick & Microsoft Bing. Can import images from Clipboard and also allows user to create a custom canvas with desired resolution and background color.
c) New Text Layers. Text tool exports layers as separate layers. Allowing users to pan & rotate the text as convenient.
d) Two new tools, custom white balance & miniature. Both can be accessed from Fx Menu.
