Instagram Now Has 80 Million Users
Showing absolutely no sign of a slowdown, Instagram is racing ahead and now has 80 million users, that’s a 60% increase from just the past 13 weeks. AllThingsD spoke with an infrastructure engineer and he said, “We now have >5.7m users per employee and “We’re hiring :),” Branson added.
It seems that those concerned that Facebook’s commitment of $1 billion would prove a negative effect on growth have been proved wrong. There also looks like there is no sign on the horizon for this growth to stop or even slowing down.
