Camera+ Gets Stripped From The App Store
As we and many others reported yesterday, Camera+ violated Apple’s developer agreement by ‘hiding’ an update to their hugely popular app after Apple had already rejected it. Apple initially rejected the update to Camera+ as it felt it would bring about ‘user confusion’. The idea was to allow users to use one of the iPhone’s volume buttons as a mechanical shutter button while using Camera+. However, tap tap tap, the developers behind Camera+ then gave instructions via Twitter on a ‘workaround’ allowing users to use the volume button as the shutter.
