iColorama – Updated
iColorama has for iPad has just been updated and it’s definitely worth grabbing this. There’s a bug fix with photo orientation using the iPad 2. There’s also some blend modes for styles, gradients and grunge textures. There’s also been a few ‘relocations’, if you’re searching for Bleach after this upgrade, you’ll find it in Styles: Shadows. KitCam – Updated
Just four days old and KitCam has received its first update. They are mainly bug fixes which have now been resolved, these include a problem with low light boost setttings, Flickr uploader tags keyboard now has a comma – making it easier to add tags and there are a few other minor graphical issues. Pixlr Express Plus is a great relatively new app from the developers of Pixlr-o-matic among others. We recently mentioned it in Mel Harrison’s APPart column article – ‘The hungry ghost challenged’. It has the opacity and directional tools for all your favorite Pixlr-o-matic filters. So in effect you could use this app instead of Pixlr-o-matic from the outset. Iris Photo Suite – Temporary Price Drop
Iris is definitely one of the most popular apps for iPhone photographers, although many have complained about the resolution issues. As I mentioned in Kimberly Post Rowe’s recent interview, I have discussed this with the developer and he assured me that a new update was coming out shortly and that he was aware of the issues and this update will include fixes as well as bringing resolution support equivalent to what they currently offer in Laminar. Blux Camera for iPad – Updated
Blux Camera for iPad has been out now for a couple of weeks and sales have been good. The intuitive UI allows you to select filters and effects with a simple swipe of the thumb while still holding the iPad with both hands.
