10,000 Mac Apps Now Available In The Mac App Store
Apple ticked off another achievement today and announced that they now have more than 10,000 applications in the Mac App Store. The Mac App Store launched in early 2011 with 1,000 apps, so you can see how rapidly that has increased in just over one year. Amongst those 10,000 apps, there are 628 Photography apps with Apple holding the top two places with iPhoto at number one and Aperture at number two. Adobe are holding onto third place with Photoshop Elements and Nik Software’s hugely popular Snapseed is at number four.
