Mobile Photography & Art Flickr Group Showcase – 4 March 2018
I’ve been really excited this week because I have created a new interview platform within TheAppWhisperer that allows artists to answer the textual questions we ask, visually and the results have been spectacular. I have wanted to do this for sometime. As I explained elsewhere on the internet, my thought processes behind this format of interview are based on not only my life experiences but also on some of my professional qualifications. I have been surrounded my entire life by people who find communicating in a neurotypical way, difficult. I believe and have always believed that the onus is on the person trying to interpret what is being communicated, to…

Visualising Mobile Art Interview with Christine Sobczak
We have a new section here at TheAppWhisperer.com entitled ‘Visualising Interviews’. A picture speaks a thousand words, so says the English language idiom and as this is a website by and for visual artists, we felt this section was long overdue. We asked a series of mobile photographers and artists ten questions, in text format and we asked them to respond in their very best way, visually. We published our first and second visual interviews with Deborah McMillion and M. Cecilia Sao Thaigo this week, if you missed those, please go here. Today we are publishing our third visual interview, this time with Christine Sobczak…! All images ©Christine Sobczak

Mobile Photography & Art Flickr Group Showcase – 25 February 2018
“I didn’t know I was even supposed to HAVE issues until I came to America”, a quote from a book I am currently reading – Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. A fearless contemporary construction about immigration, racism, American dreams and love. Adichie has the unique ability to meticulously and deeply humanise language, capturing a familiar plot but making it fresh. I read vast ranges of books, never fixating on a genre. I am the same when studying photography and art. I’m influenced by and interested in artists who break rules about genre. I’m interested in images with multiple levels that repay close inspection, ensuring I go to unexpected places. A…

New Mobile Photography & Art Competition – MAJE – Mobile Art – Jazz Experience – Submissions Open
I am inspired to announce the latest New ERA Mobile Photography & Art Exhibition, entitled Mobile Art Jazz Experience (MAJE). From the mind of visionary Andrea Bigiarini, It is a revolutionary concept of Mobile Art where photos will come ‘alive’ enhanced by live music, composed specifically for this event, by musician Marco Testoni (Pollock Project). Thirteen 511-inches screens and thirty two laser projectors installed in the Santo Stefano al Ponte church, will ensure this is an event, always to be remembered. There will be four acts to this unique experience, more in line with a revolutionary opera. Each depicting an element of human emotion.
