    We have looked at King Camera many times, perhaps most notably on dpreview.com, you can read that review here. Well, the very friendly developers behind King Camera have just published an update to this popular app. This update, 2.5.2 now removes the volume shutter feature, as requested by Apple, although the developers are fighting hard to get this back.     iPad 3 To Ship With 8 Megapixel Camera – Rumor

    Well that’s the latest rumor folks, MacRumors are reporting that Apple Daily claim to have information received through ‘special channels’ that the iPad 3 camera will have a significant upgrade to 8 megapixels. The iPad 2 currently sports a 1 megapixel camera. They also claim that the iPad 3 will have a more ‘gradual taper to the edges’ as can be seen in the image below, resulting in the camera being sited on the taper itself. For those folks that haven’t heard, Apple are predicted to announce the new iPad 3 on March 7, 2012 with it being available to purchase approximately one to two weeks later.

    AppleInsider are reporting that the television network ABC have announced plans to broadcast a special edition of "Nightline" next week after having gained unprecedented access to document the working conditions inside factories at some of Apple’s suppliers. AppleInsider explain that "Anchor Bill Weir received permission from Apple to visit factories in Shenzhen, China in preparation for the report, which will air on Feb. 21 at 11:35 p.m. Eastern on the ABC network.     Well, there never really was that much doubt but just in case you thought Apple wouldn’t follow through, it has now been confirmed, by MacRumors at least, that indeed the iPad 3 will ship with a 2,048 x 1,536 pixel retina display.
