iPad 3 To Ship With 8 Megapixel Camera – Rumor
Well that’s the latest rumor folks, MacRumors are reporting that Apple Daily claim to have information received through ‘special channels’ that the iPad 3 camera will have a significant upgrade to 8 megapixels. The iPad 2 currently sports a 1 megapixel camera.
They also claim that the iPad 3 will have a more ‘gradual taper to the edges’ as can be seen in the image below, resulting in the camera being sited on the taper itself.
For those folks that haven’t heard, Apple are predicted to announce the new iPad 3 on March 7, 2012 with it being available to purchase approximately one to two weeks later.
