Rumour – The New iPad 5…Video
Mashable published news yesterday of a new video (via MacRumors) by Chinese parts supplier SW-BOX.com reportedly showing an iPad 5 and comparing it against the iPad 4 and iPad Mini. It looks pretty hot, it’s narrower than the iPad 4, it’s similar looking to the iPad mini, flatter and more streamlined. We’re hoping that Apple will be releasing the new iPad later this month but we’ll keep you informed about that. Check out the video below and let us know your thoughts, this looks like a great Christmas seller…

iPhone 5 Ships With 1 GB RAM
MacRumors are reporting that Apple’s brand spanking new iPhone 5 is packed with 1 GB RAM. We know the iPhone 5 is packed with an awesome A6 processor and we’ve been anticipating a RAM increase for some time. Both the iPhone 4 and 4S run with 513 MB RAM but 1 GB will speed up performance with applications and documents and omit a whole lot of lagging and gives app developers a lot more memory to work with.

New iPad Same Camera Sensor
MacRumors are reporting that following iFixit’s tear down of the third generation iPad that ‘the most interesting – though perhaps unsurprising – discovery is that Apple has apparently reused cameras from prior products for both the front and rear cameras on the new iPad’. If you look at the image of the camera below, it is apparently the same 5 megapixel CMOS Image Sensor that was used in the iPhone 4. The front camera in the new third generation iPad is the 0.3 megapixel Omnivision unit that is also in the iPad 2. By recycling as many parts as they can Apple can keep their costs down and profits up,…

iPad 3 High-Resolution Display – Confirmed, by MacRumors
Well, there never really was that much doubt but just in case you thought Apple wouldn’t follow through, it has now been confirmed, by MacRumors at least, that indeed the iPad 3 will ship with a 2,048 x 1,536 pixel retina display. Apparently MacRumors were able to obtain one of the iPad 3 displays and examine it under a microscope in order to determine whether it really is a high res display or not. Following their examination they confirmed that the iPad 3 display’s pixels appear to be one quarter of the size of those on the iPad 2. MacRumors have only managed to obtain a literal iPad 3 display…

Looks like a date has been set, MacRumors reports, having seen the information on Japanese site, Kodawarisan (who went on to confirm that this information came from a ‘strong’ source), that the next expected media event will fall on September 7, 2011. With similar dates last year and the introduction of the iPod Touch, iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle models, this year we are expecting the announcement of the iPhone 5 as well as the official launch of iOS 5. Presumably if Apple do announce the iPhone 5 on September 7, we won’t be able to get our hands on them until October at the earliest – but whenever we…
