New iPad Same Camera Sensor
MacRumors are reporting that following iFixit’s tear down of the third generation iPad that ‘the most interesting – though perhaps unsurprising – discovery is that Apple has apparently reused cameras from prior products for both the front and rear cameras on the new iPad’. If you look at the image of the camera below, it is apparently the same 5 megapixel CMOS Image Sensor that was used in the iPhone 4. There’s a new section at Apple iTunes entitled ‘Great Apps for the New iPad’ and is definitely worth checking out. It lists new and/or updated retina-enabled iPads to enable you to take advantange of the high resolution screen of the new iPad. There are some great apps available including SketchBook Pro, Infinity Blade II, MASS EFFECT INFILTRATOR, IncrediBooth, we can’t wait to fire them up on our new iPad.

Yes folks, it’s March 16, 2012 and that means only one thing to Apple fans around the world, it’s iPad day. Today, everyone who pre-ordered an iPad last week (when we told you to) will be receiving a new iPad. Others can head to an Apple store or authorized reseller and hopefully get one. Or what we would still recommend is ordering one online, although the delivery dates have slipped now to two-three weeks ,you are guaranteed one and if Apple can get it to you sooner then they will. Autodesk has wasted no time releasing their newly updated SketchBook Express app with features for the new iPad including Retina Display and canvas size to 2048×1536. There’s also improved pan/zoom performance and a few bug fixes. If you, like us are taking delivery of a brand new iPad tomorrow morning make sure you get this app up and running on it straight away.
