The purpose of this challenge is to dwell in the magical world within, where we can be a character, a dream, an idea or an illusion. The end of Summer gives way to the magical part of the year, not Halloween, not Christmas, but an authentic expression of the magic in each of us. I personally asked London based mobile street photographer, Mark Fearnley to take over our Instagram account for seven days because he’s what I would describe as ‘a hardcore street photographer’. Fearnley’s street photography illustrates ideas, his deployment of the art, on the fertile ground he finds in London, represents the vibrant period that street photography is receiving here in Britain today. Mobile Photography & Art – Tip of the Day – Tell Siri To Fire The Shutter Button
We are re-igniting our Tip of the Day section and we have a great one here that’s going to be of huge use to many photographers and to my mind it’s a feature that ought to be written into camera firmware too. Siri, up and until now, has not been able to handle the prospect of literally firing the shutter button. ‘Wide Awoke’- Are Female Artists Worth Collecting? with Fleur Schim from Florida, United States
Several weeks ago, we announced our brand new ‘Women’ section within TheAppWhisperer and we kicked off with our first ‘Talking Points’ with the incredibly talented mobile artist, M. Cecilia Sao Thiago, where she visually channeled the creative argument of ‘what if I wasn’t me?’, envisaging herself as an artist whilst physically being a male, as opposed to female. For the past week Ocean Morisset – @oceanstide has been publishing three of his images each day to our Instagram feed and it’s been winsome. I personally asked mobile street photographer, Morisset to take over our Instagram account for seven days because he’s distinguished himself through sheer range. Morisset’s photography is never staged and I would venture, each image is captured in an instant.
