    We’re not massive fans of drop tests here at theappwhisperer.com – we have looked at all manner of products over the years, drop tested and it’s not exactly a ‘scientific’ way of putting a product through its paces. Or at least that’s one school of thought, others seem to think that drop tests are exactly like real life scenarios and indeed want to read about them. Well, whatever side of the fence you’re on, you might be interested in watching the video below. SquareTrade decided to pit the iPhone 4S against the Samsung Galaxy S II with a series of drop tests. The results aren’t pretty but relatively conclusive nonetheless.…

    We do agree here at theappwhisperer.com that the Samsung Galaxy S II is a totally awesome device, we love it. Samsung have recently announced that it is their fastest ever selling smartphone with over 10 million sold in five months. What they’ve done now is add the sales figures for both the Galaxy S and S II devices together and announce that over 30 million units have now been sold worldwide. With 66% of those sales representing 20 million handsets of the Galaxy S. Way to go, Samsung.
