    2013-11-02 / 1 Comment

Camera+ iOS Photography App – Updated And Loses Customers!

    2013-10-31 / 15 Comments

Possibly the ‘most popular mobile photography app in the world’ Camera+ has possibly just undone all the good. Customers appear to be uninstalling Camera+ from their devices at a rate of knots. Why, you may well ask. Has the new update broken something? Filled iOS devices with bugs? Well, it appears not, but reports are flying in that the editorial that accompanied the update has set some customers aflame (not just in the Halloween sense). Taptaptap the developers of Camera+ according to the reports via their Twitter feed have played this one too controversially and naturally it hasn’t gone down well. ‘Ridiculous update notes from @taptaptap Camera+ today. Deleted. Said…

2013-10-31 / Comments Off on Vodafone and O2 smash speed records with new 4G services – New London report by RootMetrics

Mobile internet speeds in London and surrounding areas have more than doubled since the launch of O2 and Vodafone’s 4G services two months ago. According to thousands of independent scientific tests by RootMetrics across the capital, Vodafone has the edge on O2, recording download speeds of 9.5 Mbps and upload speeds of 4.7 Mbps (upload) compared to O2’s 7.1Mbps (download) and 3.7 Mbps (upload). Despite the positive start by Vodafone and O2’s 4G offering, EE remains the fastest and highest rated overall network. Following the launch of its double speed 4G network, it has recorded exceptionally fast average speeds of 19.3 Mbps (download) and 12.9 Mbps (upload). Its speeds are…

Snapseed Updated – Not For iOS 5 or 6

2013-10-30 / Comments Off on Snapseed Updated – Not For iOS 5 or 6

Snapseed has been updated with a new HDR SCAPE filter, a new Shadows slider in Tune Image brightens dark areas naturally. Plus bug fixes and other small improvements. This is not an improvement if you’re still running iOS 5 or 6, far from it and Google advise you not install this update in that case. It has a bug that leads to problems when saving or sharing images on these versions of iOS. This is a free update to an already free app and you can download/update it here.
