Janine’s incredible mobile photography and art has always been an absolute joy to view, it is incredibly humorous and we know of no other mobile photographer/artist that can capture and interpret mobile photography in such a way, it is truly unique

Janine’s photography has been exhibited in art galleries across the United States and in Europe, has been featured on various websites and in publication. She is currently a proud member of the traveling iPad photography exhibit called “Light Impressions” along with 40 very talented mobile photographers. In publishing news, Janine was honored and delighted to have participated in an upcoming book about creating surreal digital photography. This book is set to be released in the spring of 2013 by Ilex Press.

Janine is a mobile photographer who enjoys belly dancing, bacon cheeseburgers, cappuccinos, the smell of old books, slapstick comedy, the color orange and movies about gladiators. Since discovering mobile photography in the early fall of 2010, Janine has set aside her professional DSLR and desktop editing programs in favor of the iPhone and its myriad of wonderful editing apps. In regards to subject matter, she tends to gravitate towards subjects that allow for a whimsy feeling or vibe; she likes to have fun!

As a Columnist for theappwhisperer.com, we are giving Janine a free rein, her creativity needs that freedom to express itself in the way that it does and we know you will love us for it. Sometimes Janine will interpret her images into tutorials for us, other times she’s going to be telling us about her inspirations in mobile photography and art, some weeks she will be expressing her ideas and news about the community. We’re going to leave it to her to surprise us, one thing we do know for sure, is that each post will have a huge splattering of humor and we so love her humor and you will too. Janine’s Column will be called iSights which she describes as ‘”a spin on “eyesight” and “sights” meaning “marvels, wonders, visions and more”.

We recently welcomed Richard Gray, Misho Baranovic, Dan Marcolina, Keith Tharp, David Hayes, Teri Lou Dantzler, Richard Koci Hernandez, Rudy Vogel, Kevin Kuster, Laura Peischl, Dilshad Corleone, Mel Harrison, Star Rush, Catherine Restivo, JQ Gaines, Cindy Patrick and Roger Guetta as Columnists to theappwhisperer and we will have a few more announcements to make very soon.
