Instagram For iOS and Android – Updated To V. 4.1
Just over a month ago, Instagram launched Video on Instagram and we also launched our Mobile Movies flickr group to coincide with that – please go here to check it out send us your movies for consideration in our Mobile Movies showcase each week, see here for more information on that.
The latest version of Instagram now allows you to upload videos from your phone’s media library and share those moments to Instagram regardless of when they were captured. Once you select the video clip that you want to import, you can trim it down to the specific part you like the best. You can also choose how you square-crop your clip.
There’s also automatic straightening for iOS, the developers have included brand new technology that straightens your images instantly. When you take a photo with the in-app camera, you can now tap the Straighten icon and your photo will correct to be level.
Finally the Video on Instagram facility has now been rolled out to the Android community, albeit the Ice Cream Sandwich ones but this is nonetheless fabulous news.
