TheReelist has released version 1.2 of their iPhone app today. This is an app for serious movie lovers who want to learn more about their favorite films. Using it they’ll have the ability to learn more about the cast, the production, and film’s shooting locations.
Most movie websites and apps will provide reviews and gossip regarding a film. This is helpful before you’ve viewed a film, but once you’ve seen the movie and enjoyed it there is nowhere to go to find out more. TheReelist website allows for users to submit interesting stories, interviews and analysis about a film to the site. These stories are attached to each one of over 20,000 movie and actor pages inside the service. TheReelist staff curates these submissions into a Featured list of stories making a captivating feed of new and interesting movie stories.
Just reading about films isn’t all TheReelist application provides. When you open the app, it will detect where you are located and display on a Google Map what movie scenes were filmed near you. You’ll be surprised what movies were filmed where you eat lunch every day.
The serious movie lover needs a serious application to find out more, unique and interesting stories and information. That app is now here.
