Frustrating as it is for us, it must be more so for Apple, just three days ago they posted record revenue of $15.7 billion with a net quarterly profit of $3.25 billion. Today, they announced a further delay with the elusive white iPhone 4.
Official Statement
A new date has not been announced, their official statement reads:
"White models of Apple’s new iPhone® 4 have continued to be more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected, and as a result they will not be available until later this year. The availability of the more popular iPhone 4 black models is not affected."
