MacPhun have updated Snapheal their highly succesful Mac app. This latest version 1.1 now includes a performance boost for erase tool, making it more than 2x faster. Android – Kodak Gallery – Updated
Perhaps not the Kodak inspired news you were expecting to read but on a positive note Kodak have updated their photo sharing app for Android. It’s full of new features including the facility to delete albums and photos, rotate images, share single images with social sharing, download a photo to your phone, set as wallpaper and lastly the facility to order prints and create photo products from your photos. Apple Drops Price of iPad 2
Many competitiors to Apple have already started dropping their prices on the iPad 2 but now Apple has joined in, according to DigitTimes at least. Both the 16GB and 32GB models are down by $50. Meaning you can now pick up a 16GB iPad 2 for $449 or the 32GB for $549. We just checked the US Apple store and the full prices are still up but expect this to change very soon. Android – Skitch for Android – Updated
This is a very much needed update to this excellent app. Strangely in the earlier version it was not possible to save images to your SD card, but anyway, now you can. As well as that you can also draw on maps and sketch and share a route or point out a location. You can also easily move and resize text around without switching tools. This is a free update to an already free app and you can download it here.

Named Apple’s iPad App of the year and one of TIME’s Top 50 Innovations, Flipboard creates a personalized magazine out of everything being shared with you.
