Artist Susan Latty Joins TheAppWhisperer Online Gallery
We are absolutely delighted to announce that highly talented artist Susan Latty, has joined our online gallery. Latty is a visual artist working in Sydney, Australia, she primarily uses the medium of mobile photography and art to create portraits of flowers with meticulous attention to detail. Each image captured in her signature style is the result of her artist exploration of emotional transition as time transcends shifts of experiences, often invisible to outsiders but nevertheless deeply felt. Containing the necessary traces of people, whilst being physically absent, her work discreetly leads the viewer to the threshold of a quiet unanticipated, silent introspection. Each photograph implores the viewer to stop for a…

Mobile Art Course – “Painting With Light : Creative Long Exposure Mobile Photography” by Nicki Fitz-Gerald
I am delighted to promote this brand new mobile art course created by internationally acclaimed artist, author, and instructor Nicki Fitz-Gerald. This course offers a way to create unique mobile art images that allow light to be recorded, slowly, over a period of time as a still image. The results are quite different from traditional long exposure photography. Nicki begins with the most popular (and familiar) effects, but then quickly moves on to the more creative side of long exposure photography … showing us how the very nature of long exposure of photography on an iPhone can be very different from what can be achieved on a DLSR camera. Indeed,…

Mobile Photography & Art Showcase – 13 June 2021
“Never say you know the last word about any human heart”, a quotation by Henry James from the rich tapestry of a book I am currently rereading, Any Human Heart by William Boyd. Art links all around us and we need to be able to tie it altogether, to make it whole. Human expression within this weeks mobile photography and art Flickr Group Showcase, speaks to us. Worldly wise, yet perilously fragile, many of these images demonstrate the agony and ecstasy of love and life well lived. This weeks showcase is a wholly humane romance and a worthy treat for all of us. Wishing you all a beautiful Sunday, we,…
Latest Artwork Sold in our Online Gallery by Paul Suciu – ‘Tristesse de la lune’
I am so proud to announce our latest limited edition artwork has been sold and shipped to a customer in the Netherlands. It is stunning artwork by Paul Suciu entitled ‘Tristesse de la lune’. Paul Suciu works in the suspended moment and captures some sense of the invisible or at least the latent within his photographs. His work is a form of storytelling, his images visually narrate the viewer towards the conclusion, as if they were physically there. He has a unique visual sensibility with a quiet alertness that you can sense within his images, echoing his own presence as a photographer and that as a man. Many of his images…
