A one-take journey through Russia’s iconic museum | Shot on iPhone 11 Pro

To illustrate the battery life of the iPhone 11 Pro, Apple and agency TBWAMedia Arts Lab London have unveiled an unprecedented epic of an ad, clocking in at 5 hours, 19 minutes and 28 seconds—all filmed on the smartphone in one take without ever recharging the battery. Mobile Photography / Art Competition – MIRA Mobile Prize 2020 – Open for Entries
I am so proud to be a member of this esteemed mobile photography and art annual competition alongside, Andrea Bigiarini, Gina Costa, Giulia Baita, Luis Octavio Costa and Dan Berman. Many thanks to Manuela Matos Monteiro for inviting me. There six categories to enter in this competition and each artist may submit a total of three mobile images, per category. These include: Landscape, Portrait, Daily Life, Architecture, Minimal and Digital Art. This is a free to enter competition. If your image is selected this will incur a charge of $36 administrative fee. The opening exhibition of the MIRA Mobile Prize 2020 will be held in Oporto on 20 June 2020…

Clive James the prolific Austrialian author, poet and broadcaster died late last year. I’ve always been a fan of his work, he made his name as a television critic, essayist and wit but he started as a poet and just over five years ago he was diagnosed with leukaemia, emphysema and kidney failure – he described it as ‘the lot’ and he ended as a poet. There’s a particular story I remember reading about James, it goes like this… One time he was going through a creative dry spell. He had written a play for the London stage and it bombed spectacularly. Not only did it ruin his family financially…

Our one hundredth and seventh interview in this series of intimate interviews is with talented mobile photographer Ken Matthews, otherwise known as @dallachy1 on Instagram.
