As with real painters if you paint the same image multiple times you will get slightly different results.…
iOS – MobileMonet – Updated
MobileMonet converts a photo to a beautiful artistic rendering employing a creative interactive process. MobileMonet generates a black and white sketch version of any picture you select. There are settings to adjust the sketch to your liking. MobileMonet then lets you paint onto the sketch using a soft flow brush tool that applies a painterly version of the original photo. The more you brush, the more paint is applied. It’s deceptively simple, but very creative. Brush in just the areas you want to highlight. You can adjust the paint settings to get just look you want. This app has just received some new Photo Management Improvements, you can check out What’s…

iOS – Camera Awesome Becomes More Awesome
Camera Awesome takes your photos to the next level by shooting faassst and taking sharper, better-exposed shots. You may recall that this app received quite a lot of stick when it was released on February 28, 2012. Billed as ‘free’ it came with, as the developer told us ‘tons of in-app purchases’. Well, that’s good but then it’s not ‘exactly free’, is it? Looks like the developers have had a rethink as this update includes much lower pricing for in-app effects packages. There’s also Instagram integration, in-app tutorials, pinch-to-zoom, white balance lock, improved sharing interface, improved shot timer, performance improvements, EXIF date improvements and a bunch of bug and crash…
