Fragment – Photography App – Now Available on Android
Fragment for iOS photography has been a huge success to developers, Pixite apps and now that it’s available to the Android market, their sucess is set to soar. So far, it’s only received a minimal number of installs but it’s early days and the feedback is strong. Fragment is available on the Google Play store in the UK for £1.20 and will be the equivalent, country specific. Click here to download and find out more.
iOS – Vine App – Updated With New Camera
I had the pleasure of experiencing a Vine demonstration in London many months ago (many thanks @RichardBarley from Twitter HQ for that). Richard is a wonderful man and incredibly enthusiastic about Vine. I have to say I share much of his enthusiam with regards this new update. There’s a new camera that gives you the freedom to create a Vine in any way you want. New camera tools offer additional, more advanced ways to edit your videos, and you can import existing videos from your phone. I’m really looking forward to giving this update a whirl. iOS Photography App – Tiny Planet Photos – Temporarily Free

iOS Photography App – Afterlight – Updated With Fusion Filters
Afterlight for iOS photo editing is a very popular app, it offers a simple UI with fast processing and a host of filters, textures and adjustment tools. It’s just got a little bit better though, this new update now includes Fusion Filters, essentially allowing you to create your own unique filters in your own personal style. New iOS Photography App by Google – Photo Sphere Camera – Now Available
Google have launched a brand new iOS Photography application called Photo Sphere Camera. Essentially, it allows the photographer to capture 360-degree images and publish them directly to Google Maps or other social networks. Panoramic apps or even the iOS ‘Pano’ mode is not a new feature to iOS photographers, one particularly notable app which became hugely popular for this was Cycloramic. iOS Photography App – Camera+ Updated
One of the most popular image capture and editing apps for iPhone photography, Camera+ has just been updated. They have added a new adjustment to the Vignette effect in The Lab. There are also improvements to the Soft Focus and Film Grain Effects in The Lab. Clarity Pro has also been tweaked.
